McMatthy Nigeria Limited has received and inspected project materials for the emergency installation of solar-powered street lighting systems in Tamazo and Koluama 1 communities, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. The projects, awarded by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), have now entered the execution phase.
The delivered materials include All-in-One Solar LED street lights, galvanized steel poles, mounting accessories, foundation materials, cement, and other electrical installation components. Following the successful inspection, the company has commenced mobilization, including site preparation, equipment deployment, logistics coordination, and the assignment of engineers and technicians.
The projects involve the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of modern solar-powered street lighting systems aimed at improving public safety, enhancing nighttime visibility, and promoting sustainable development in the beneficiary communities.
